About us

My overall mission is to try and bring this tool to as many children as possible and what better way to do so than through the classroom.

A Little About Myself:

I am a registered nurse that has been working in addiction counseling and pediatrics for over 20 years.  I found it discouraging that there were so few resources available to children that were suffering from high levels of stress and anxiety.  I was introduced to tapping (EFT) while working with those with substance use disorder and was impressed with the results.  I found it an easy tool for anyone to learn and use to quickly regulate their emotions.  I decided to research this technique further and in 2018, I became a certified EFT practitioner and have continued to spread awareness of EFT and provide instruction to many.

A Little Bit About How EFT Works:

EFT helps regulate the bodies’ fight or flight response.  The simple act of lightly tapping on meridian points (energy passageways that run throughout our bodies) is said to release negative energy and emotions.

There are a variety of techniques to teach EFT that are effective within a group setting and with children.  The school program that I have developed is age appropriate and experiential offering the children activities and a chance to participate.  Activities include : teaching the children nine common tapping points to tap on while recognizing what emotion they are experiencing; using movement to recognize how emotions live in our body and fun activities including art, games, and more.
